Terms of Use

By downloading or playing Salary Cat you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Who we are

Salary Cat (the "App") is provided by Max Martinez, Carrera 55 # 100-51, Piso 13, Barranquilla, Colombia ("we", "us"). Contact: privacy@salarycat.com. Effective date: November 5, 2026.

The game

Salary Cat is free to download and play. It has no ads and no in-app purchases. Characters, sushi and coffee are unlocked by reaching score goals in the game. They have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold or transferred.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store or Google Play terms. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the App, its characters, artwork, music or sounds. These remain our property or our licensors'. Music and sound effects are by Taira Komori.

Your data

Your game progress stays on your device. Our Privacy Policy explains what the App uses and why. If you delete the App, your progress is deleted too, and we cannot restore it.

Leaderboards and achievements

Leaderboards and achievements run on Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, under their own terms. We may remove scores that are clearly the result of cheating or tampering. We do not guarantee that these services are always available.

Acceptable use

Do not use the App unlawfully, tamper with it or its scores, or interfere with its operation.

Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Since the App is free, our total liability is limited to USD 10. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Changes and termination

We may update the App, change or remove features, or stop offering it. We may update these Terms; we will post the new version here and change the effective date, and continued use means you accept the changes. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, and disputes go to the courts of Barranquilla, Colombia, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.

Apple terms

If you got the App from the App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product claims. If the App fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You confirm you are not in a US-embargoed country or on a US prohibited-party list. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, these Terms apply only to the extent allowed.

Google Play terms

If you got the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App.
